A number 3 is for the partner of the player on the other side of the net. Press A to change the number at the top of the screen. The letters and numbers which signify the abilities of a player are arranged in four rows of eight digits which range from 0 to 9, then A to F. 0 is the lowest and F the highest. The numbers and letters on the top row relate to the player's strength and speed. Digits on the second and third rows relate to the player's intelligence (if the player is CPU controlled). The digits may be changed by using the D-pad to highlight the corresponding value and pressing X. Press Select to return to the game.
