Turn faster when flying

When flying, hold L1 + R1 while turning. This will insure a sharper turn.

Faster Zoomer

Hold L1 + R1 to go faster on the Zoomer, at the expense of maneuverability.

Shoot cannons farther

To make the cannons at Misty Island and Sentinel Beach shoot farther, hold Square or Circle + X. This helps with any steel boxes.

Super jump

Press L1 + X. If timed correctly, you will go into a crouch position and spring higher that you would by double jumping X, X.

Do the rolling jump, then just as you touch the ground, press X. You will jump as high as the double jump.

After double jumping, press [Circle] rapidly for a longer jump.

Hard fishing game

After beating the fishing mini game, stand close to the fisherman, then press LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, RIGHT, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, RIGHT, X on the d-pad. Then talk to the fisherman.

Find really hard Power Cell in Volcanic Crater

Go to volcanic Crater and go on the mine carts to the opening of Spider Cave. Now turn around and you will see a little metal box on the rock. (It's higher than your head so go to first person view mode and go to very edge to see it.) Now that you know where the box is, go in spider cave. Find the closes yellow Eco vent to the entrance of the cave. Power up and run as fast as you can out of the cave to the rock. To make the trip faster use rolling jumps. (run press R1 or L1 than you roll than press x and you do a long leap) and when your at the rock get to the edge or close enough and jump press box to shoot a yellow eco ball and it should home in and explode the box. The power cell comes out, get it. To find more power cells you didn't find go to the strategy guide on this site. It really helps.

Boss One

Avoid the spikey creatures it sends forth until their pointybits disappear then move in for the kill. The boss will then sprout two giant leaf platforms,use them two jump and strike it in the head. repeat this three times. You'll be victorious! (Forbidden Jungle)

Snowy Mountain Fort

When you get inside the Lurker Fort On Snowy Mountain, there's a big wooden structure right in front of you, climb it. Once you get the PC(power cell) next to the scout fly and orbs on the top, jump down to the platform that is the highest one.(you just jumped of it to get up to the power cell). If you look around to your back you will see another PC on a different wood structure. You have to go all the way around the fort on platforms to get to it. But, if you do a running horizontal launch (L1+square while running) from the platform your on, you can skip all the hassle of going all the way around and get another Power cell! Good Luck.

Free Precursor Orbs!!!

In the Forbidden Forest Kill the big flower boss. When it's dead jump on it's head to get FREE PRECURSOR ORBS!!!!! Don't lose life while jumping of a high area When you are jumping off a high cliff and don't want to lose life right before your going to hit the ground press 0. You will hover and soften your landing.

No Damage from Big Falls

When you fall from a high place, kick [Circle] shortly before you hit the ground and you won't take any damage from the fall.

Easy Way to Get Power Cell from Pelicon

First go to senital beach. Then get to the cannon(first you have to unlock the blue eco vent). Aim at the pelicon and shoot(it may take a few times). Finally swim over there(NOTE:the fish will not kill you) and the power cell should be there.

Jak peeks in precursor door

Once the game is beaten go to the large precursor door after the credits and make him duck down in front of the door and his head will be inside and he will be taking a sneak peek.

Punch the lurker shark

Any location in the game where the lurker shark exists jump in the water and wait for the shark to come and when he gets close enough jump up and do a spin kick in the air and before the shark eats you will hear a punch noise and jak hit the monster.

Lurker blimp still there

After you complete and got all power cells in boggy swamp go to the jungle tower, snowy mountain, or highest point in citadel to see in the far distence that the lurker blimp is still there.

Jump through fire flames

In boggy swamp when you enter your first tunnel on the sides of it are sticks with flames on top. Jak can touch it without getting hurt.

Robot jak

Go to your zoomer and jump on top of it with jak facing the opposite direction. Then move him a step forward until he falls and make him crouch down. Jak looks like a robot with the zoomer as his robot body.

Skip ambush and still get powercell

In misty island after you exit the rolling log game go to the left path heading towards the cannon and if you look on the right of the left path you will see a vent with steam coming out. Line jak up with the vent on the edge of the bridge and jump off with a triple jump. (double jump off of the bridge and press the circle button and while pressing the circle button point the analog stick forward to land on the floor below the cannon and the powercell will be right there near the eco pool). This trick will help avoiding that ambush on the silo.

Different Ending

Collect 100 power cells and finish the game.

Get the secret ending

Finish the game with 100 of the 101 power cells in your possession.
